I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Political Science from Southern Connecticut State University. I also have a Master's Degree in Special Education from Western Governor's University.

I was a teacher assistant and substitute teacher at Derby Public Schools in CT for the 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 school years. I taught first grade at Rockfish Hoke Elementary School in Raeford, NC for the 2013/14 school year. Then I taught fourth grade at Hayestown Elementary in Danbury, CT for the 2014/2015 school year. Once I completed my Master's Degree in Special Education, I taught special education preschool at Newtown Public Schools, CT. This is my first year teaching EC at Meadow View! I am so happy to be here.

I grew up in Woodbury, Connecticut. I lived in Fayetteville, NC temporarily while my husband was stationed at Fort Bragg (82nd Airborne). After completing his military career, we moved back to Connecticut. However; we missed the warmth of North Carolina. This is our first year living in Jacksonville.  When I am not teaching here at Meadow View, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, Piper. We love going to the beach! My other hobbies include reading, baking, and hiking.
